The First Rule of Fight Club
Fight Club has been my favorite movie ever since my first viewing. From the actors, directors and the hidden meaning of the movie, it all creates such a powerful movie. The "First Rule of Fight Club" scene has to be one of the most memorable scene of the movie, due to their memorable lines, as well as the editing and directing techniques Fincher had used. The scene shows Fight Club being held in the basement of a bar with dim lighting and no windows connecting them to the outside world with someone in the back telling everybody to keep it down. Then Tyler said his infamous line “First rule of Fight Club, you do not talk about Fight Club,” the camera circle around Tyler, breaking the 180 rule, but for the purpose of showing the members being fully hooked on his speech, suggesting a religious sentiment.
